Comincia con una vittoria il campionato biancorosso. Era tanto atteso l’esordio in regular-season dei ragazzi di coach Christian e il pubblico triestino può esultare per la vittoria al PalaTrieste. Con Orzinuovi termina 80-75 in una partita equilibrata e dal ritmo elevato in cui Deangeli e compagni hanno però imposto il proprio gioco nell’ultimo quarto conquistando i primi due punti stagionali.

Trieste va subito all’attacco, spinta dal tifo dei tifosi. I tentativi di entrambe le squadre di andare a segno non hanno successo e il risultato rimane bloccato nei primi due minuti di gioco. Sono gli ospiti a sbloccare il punteggio e ad andare a più tre grazie al tiro libero di Brown.
