Grande festa al PalaTrieste, dove si è tenuta oggi la presentazione di tutte le formazioni biancorosse in un evento aperto a tifosi e città culminato con la tradizionale asta benefica co-organizzata con l’Associazione #IoTifoSveva.
Proprio oggi, sabato 30 settembre, ricorreva il quarto anniversario dalla scomparsa della piccola Sveva, grande appassionata di basket e dei colori biancorossi. La festa del PalaTrieste è stata l’occasione per celebrarne il ricordo, in una giornata di solidarietà, condivisione e gioia, proprio come auspicato e voluto dall’Associazione. Tanti i pezzi pregiati venduti all’asta, dalla maglia dell’Italia autografata di Gigi Datome a quelle dei beniamini biancorossi del presente e del passato.
A introdurre e a presentare la serata, dopo l’apertura dello spazio Food and Beverage animato dal dj set di Radio Punto Zero, lo speaker biancorosso Rado Sustersic e Marco Stabile, voce e volto del Local Media Partner Telequattro.
A prendere per primo la parola il General Manager Michael Arcieri: “Vedere il palazzetto così caldo fa sempre effetto. L’abbiamo sperimentato in questa pre-season e nei primi eventi dedicati ai tifosi. È proprio a loro che vogliamo rivolgerci perché senza il loro supporto non possiamo raggiungere i nostri obiettivi. Ringrazio l’Associazione #IoTifoSveva per essere al nostro fianco e parte della famiglia biancorossa: oggi è una giornata davvero speciale nel ricordo di Sveva. Ringrazio inoltre le istituzioni qui presenti per il sostegno alla nostra Società: il legame con il territorio passa anche dal loro lavoro e serate come questa ne sono la dimostrazione”.
A rappresentanza delle istituzioni locali e regionali – portando i migliori auguri per l’imminente inizio del campionato di A2 – sono intervenuti la Vice Sindaco e Assessore con delega alla promozione ed eventi sportivi Elisa Lodi, il Vice Presidente della Regione FVG e Assessore alla cultura e allo sport Mario Anzil e l’Assessore alla difesa dell’ambiente, energia e sviluppo sostenibile Fabio Scoccimarro. Un’occasione importante per evidenziare il legame della Pallacanestro Trieste con il territorio e come punto di riferimento nel veicolare i sani valori dello sport per i più giovani.
Presente anche il Presidente regionale FIP (Federazione Italiana Pallacanestro) Giovanni Adami, che ha voluto esprimere il proprio sostegno e ringraziare la Pallacanestro Trieste e la sua proprietà in una stagione ricca di obiettivi per riportare Trieste e i suoi colori dove meritano.
Eccoci così all’ingresso sul parquet delle squadre. A partire dalla squadra femminile di A2 del Futurosa, seguita dalle squadre del Minibasket Tecnocasa e dalle formazioni giovanili U14, U15, U17 e U19. A concludere la sfilata biancorossa la squadra guidata da Coach Christian e capitanata da Lodovico Deangeli, accolta dal calore dei tifosi che già avevano manifestato tutta la loro vicinanza giovedì scorso al FAN APPRECIATION DAY.
Calore ed entusiasmo protagonisti anche durante l’asta benefica, in una serata che è stata un’ulteriore occasione di condivisione e legame fra tutta la Pallacanestro Trieste, i suoi tifosi e la città. Un tutt’uno sottolineato recentemente a più riprese dal GM Arcieri e Coach Christian, al fine di creare attorno a giocatori e staff quel clima biancorosso che può e deve rivelarsi un valore aggiunto durante una stagione importantissima.
Appuntamento quindi a mercoledì 4 ottobre per la prima tappa di un percorso lungo e impegnativo che vedrà Trieste esordire in casa alle 20:30 con OrziBasket.

A grand celebration took place at PalaTrieste today, where the presentation of all the “Biancorossi” teams occurred in an event open to fans and the city, culminating in the traditional charity auction co-organized with the #IoTifoSveva Association.
Today, Saturday, September 30th, marked the fourth anniversary of the passing of little Sveva, a passionate basketball fan and supporter of the white and red colors. The PalaTrieste festivities served as an opportunity to commemorate her memory in a day of solidarity, sharing, and joy, just as the Association had hoped for and envisioned. Many valuable items were sold at the auction, from Gigi Datome’s autographed Italy jersey to those of the beloved white and red heroes from the past and present.
Introducing and hosting the evening, following the Food and Beverage area animated by Radio Punto Zero’s DJ set, were the white and red announcer Rado Sustersic and Marco Stabile, the face and voice of the Local Media Partner Telequattro.
The General Manager, Michael Arcieri, took the floor first, stating, “Seeing the arena filled with such warmth always has an impact. We’ve experienced it during this preseason and in the first fan events. It’s precisely to our fans that we want to speak because without their support, we can’t achieve our goals. I thank the #IoTifoSveva Association for standing by our side and being part of the white and red family. Today is a truly special day in memory of Sveva. I also thank the institutions present here for their support to our club. The connection with the community is also built through their work, and evenings like this are proof of that”.
Representatives from local and regional institutions, extending their best wishes for the upcoming start of the A2 championship, included Vice Mayor and Councilor for Promotion and Sports Events, Elisa Lodi; Vice President of the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region and Councilor for Culture and Sport, Mario Anzil; and Councilor for Environmental Defense, Energy, and Sustainable Development, Fabio Scoccimarro. It was an important occasion to highlight the connection between Pallacanestro Trieste and the community, serving as a reference point in promoting the positive values of sports to the youth.
Also in attendance was the Regional President of FIP (Italian Basketball Federation), Giovanni Adami, who expressed his support and gratitude to Pallacanestro Trieste and its ownership in a season filled with objectives to bring Trieste and its colors to where they deserve.
The teams then made their entrance onto the court, starting with the A2 women’s team of Futurosa, followed by the Minibasket Tecnocasa teams and the youth teams U14, U15, U17, and U19. Concluding the white and red parade was the team led by Coach Christian and captained by Lodovico Deangeli, welcomed by the warmth of the fans who had already shown their support last Thursday at the FAN APPRECIATION DAY.
Warmth and enthusiasm also took center stage during the charity auction, in an evening that provided another opportunity for sharing and bonding among Pallacanestro Trieste, its fans, and the city. This unity has been emphasized repeatedly by GM Arcieri and Coach Christian, aiming to create that white and red atmosphere around players and staff that can and should be an added value during this crucial season.
