Integrato anche il Consiglio di Amministrazione
Trieste, 11 aprile 2024 – CSG annuncia l’ingresso di un nuovo investitore nel suo assetto sociale e in quello della Pallacanestro Trieste: si tratta di Paul Matiasic, avvocato di San Francisco con origini istriane.
Paul ha acquisito quote di CSG e, a seguito dell’operazione di trasferimento da parte di Trieste Basket, è diventato anche il maggiore azionista diretto della Pallacanestro Trieste.
Giocatore di basket negli USA e in Italia durante gli anni universitari, Paul Matiasic ha radici in Istria, terra che suo nonno, suo padre e la sua famiglia hanno lasciato per emigrare negli Stati Uniti durante l’esodo, e parenti tra Trieste e il Friuli, patria di sua madre. Ha giocato a basket a livello Pro-Am e anche in Italia, militando a Roma nel periodo in cui studiava presso l’università americana nella capitale: la sua passione e conoscenza dello sport rendono il suo ingresso in società strategico nei progetti di sviluppo della Pallacanestro Trieste e di CSG.
A seguito del trasferimento di un pacchetto di azioni da Trieste Basket a CSG e del successivo ingresso del nuovo socio, cambia anche il Consiglio di Amministrazione della Pallacanestro Trieste, con l’uscita di Andrea Bochicchio e l’ingresso nel CdA di due soci di CSG, Prab Sekhon e Paul Matiasic.

THE CORPORATE STRUCTURE OF PALLACANESTRO TRIESTE EXPANDS WITH THE ADDITION OF A NEW SHAREHOLDER. TWO NEW MEMBERS OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Trieste, April 11th 2024 – CSG announces the entry of a new investor into its social framework and that of Pallacanestro Trieste: Paul Matiasic, a lawyer from San Francisco, with Istrian origins.
Paul has acquired shares of CSG and, following the transfer operation by Trieste Basket, has also become the largest, direct shareholder of Pallacanestro Trieste.
A basketball player in the USA and Italy during his university years, Paul Matiasic has roots in Istria, where his grandfather, father, and family left for the United States during the exodus, and family between Trieste and Friuli, the homeland of his mother. He played basketball at the Pro-Am level and also in Italy, playing in Rome during the period when he studied at the American university in the capital: his passion and knowledge of the sport make his entry into the company strategic in the development projects of Pallacanestro Trieste and CSG.
As a result of the transfer of a package of shares from Trieste Basket to CSG and the subsequent entry of the new partner, the Board of Directors of Pallacanestro Trieste also changes, with the exit of Andrea Bochicchio and the entry into the Board of Directors of two CSG partners, Prab Sekhon and Paul Matiasic.
