Dalla sala stampa del PalaTrieste coach Christian ha presentato la partita di domani – domenica 15 ottobre – in programma alle 18 con Cento, valevole per la quarta giornata del Girone Rosso di A2. Una tappa importante per i biancorossi per confermare il buon avvio di campionato con tre vittorie consecutive. Di seguito le sue dichiarazioni.
Sull’inizio di campionato: “Sono entusiasta della nostra squadra per come abbiamo iniziato l’anno. Il motto con cui abbiamo iniziato è stato: iniziare veloci e finire più forti. Stiamo ancora lavorando per migliorare in questo nostro percorso. Sono contento delle vittorie e credo che potremmo giocare molto meglio: giocare contro Cento è un’opportunità per confrontarci e verificare i nostri miglioramenti”.
Sul lavoro della squadra durante gli allenamenti: “Ci stiamo concentrando molto sull’attitudine a essere competitivi e connessi soprattutto in difesa ma anche in attacco attraverso le scelte migliori. Abbiamo segnato 96 punti nell’ultima partita: vuol dire che siamo in grado di segnare perché abbiamo talento ma sappiamo che per battere le migliori squadre il nostro attacco deve continuare a crescere”.
Su Cento: “È una squadra molto forte in difesa: questa sarà una sfida importante per noi e dovremo lavorare bene insieme. Hanno un grande equilibrio e in attacco muovono bene la palla. Sarà una grande sfida sia per la nostra difesa che per il nostro attacco. Loro hanno una buona squadra e giocano molto bene assieme: hanno grande esperienza. Non c’è un periodo migliore o peggiore per giocare contro una squadra come la loro: sappiamo che dovremo giocare meglio e dare il meglio di noi stessi per conquistare la vittoria”.
