Si è concluso oggi al DoubleTree by Hilton Trieste il ciclo di incontri con la stampa per presentare il roster biancorosso. Dalla sala Adriatica in piazza della Repubblica sono intervenuti Giancarlo Ferrero e Justin Reyes, insieme al General Manager Michael Arcieri e Coach Jamion Christian. Queste le loro dichiarazioni.
Michael Arcieri, General Manager:”Ringrazio innanzitutto il nostro sponsor DoubleTree by Hilton Trieste per ospitarci in questa bellissima sala. Sono molto contento di essere qui con Justin e Gianca: conosco entrambi molto bene. Sono ragazzi che in campo avranno tanto da dare alla squadra, così come fuori dal parquet”.
Coach Jamion Christian: “Sono veramente felice di avere Justin e Gianca in squadra. Il talento di Justin è uno stimolo per ogni allenatore a dare il meglio, per far emergere queste qualità. Un giocatore dell’esperienza di Gianca ci permette di acquisire molto in termini di leadership”.
Giancarlo Ferrero: “Sono grato per le parole di Michael e del coach. Il mio obiettivo è restituire ciò che ho ricevuto in questo primo mese e mezzo. Possiamo fare qualcosa di bello qui a Trieste: siamo un gruppo che sta bene insieme. C’è attesa anche da parte di noi giocatori di partire con questo campionato e scoprire questo cammino che ci attende. Tutti e dieci saremo protagonisti in una stagione lunga e impegnativa”.
Justin Reyes: “Sono anche io molto grato per l’accoglienza che ho ricevuto dal gruppo. Sono rimasto molto colpito dai tifosi e dalla loro passione. Il coach e lo staff si prendono veramente cura di noi cercando di far emergere le nostre potenzialità. Allenamento dopo allenamento, partita dopo partita, fra di noi cresce anche la fiducia. Personalmente penso che il mio ruolo vari di gara in gara, capendo di cosa ha bisogno la squadra”.

The series of press meetings to present the red and white roster concluded today at the DoubleTree by Hilton Trieste. Giancarlo Ferrero and Justin Reyes spoke from the Adriatica room in Piazza della Repubblica, joined by General Manager Michael Arcieri and Coach Jamion Christian. Here are their statements.
Michael Arcieri, General Manager: “Firstly, I would like to thank our sponsor, DoubleTree by Hilton Trieste, for hosting us in this beautiful room. I am very pleased to be here with Justin and Gianca, whom I know very well. These are players who have a lot to offer to the team on the court, as well as off the court”.
Coach Jamion Christian: “I am really happy to have Justin and Gianca on the team. Justin’s talent is a motivation for every coach to give their best and bring out these qualities. A player like Gianca allows us to have leadership and experience”.
Giancarlo Ferrero: “I am grateful for the words of Michael and the coach. My goal is to give back what I have received in this first month and a half. We can do something beautiful here in Trieste: we are a group that gets along well. There is also anticipation among us players to start this championship and discover the path that awaits us. All ten of us will play a role in a long season”.
Justin Reyes: “I am also very grateful for the welcome I have received from the group. I was very impressed by the fans and their passion. The coach and the staff really take care of us, trying to bring out our potential. With each training session, each game, our confidence in each other grows. Personally, I think my role varies from game to game, understanding what the team needs”.
